Message board concerns

Ok fellas, looking at some of the concerns that we have with this messgae board.
#1, security. Seems we have to figure out how to tighten things up a bit. This is probably the number one priority at this point and could easily be a deal breaker.

#2, Calendar. Events in the calendar are linked to posts in a forum. We "could" enable an events forum for the posting of events only, no replies allowed, or, allow discussions in that forum. I think we could probably come up with a solution that we liked.

#3, Image posting. Dumo has mentioned a concern with the posting of images. I'm not sure what you mean Dumo but I also haven't seem much in the admin section that we could use to fine tune thei mages in posts. If you get a chance to help me understand what the issue is, we can see if we can change something.

Any other concerns, big or small?

About image posting:
Reminder...my screen resolution is set at 800 x 600.
Problem:
Image posted have resolution of 800 x 600.
On this board...(and I try the rare options how the board appear)..Imust use a bottom slider for see enterely the image.
On the former board the image appear enterely..and no need to use a slider... (no margin each sides)
Hope it's made sens...
If not .. check the example I post on the old forum....

I found an option to "resize" images in posts. It looks good on the 800x600 screen I use at work. Let me know if you see a difference Dumo.

Lol...Dbeav....yes of course it work...but the "splendor" of the image is gone....
Post a thumbnail..will have the same effect..
I will be great if it was a option "clik on the image for full size"....
So...for the image posting...the other board offer better possibility...
It's just a detail...and don't take to much care anyways....

In other news... I beleive I have fixed the security issue. Board guests are now limited to what boards they can see and post in.    I think.
