So while doing some maintenance today I decided to just disallow registrations on the board for the time being.
I'm going to be looking into doing a major update of the board software so I will need to back everything up first....just in cas it all goes wrong.
Not sure when I will get started on this. Maybe as early as tomorrow but it may not be for a week or two.
So how has everybody been? I've started popping back into SimHQ to see what's going on.
I need to get EAW loaded on the computer I'm using now. Of course it has an nVidea card ....:/... but I'll deal with that fairly easily I think.
If anyone flies online you never know but you may run into me at some point.
I know you probably aren't interested but here's what's going on with me;
Working at Ford Motor Company. Not sure if I was here the last time I chatted with any of you fellas but I sit here in front of a computer for 50 hours (or more) a wekk telling dealership mechanics how to fix cars. It's not a bad job and my back feels a lot better since I'm not the one working on the cars anymore.
Daughter graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Civil Engineering, got married, lives just a few miles from me and is getting her Masters Degree this December.
Son also graduated from MSU and has a job in Chicago.
Wife will finallybe getting her Bachelors degree this December too. She took 20 years off to have a family but went back to school and got it done.
Other than all that I have started making my own beer at home so, I'm usually very happy.....
