"Not my time to die!"
« on: August 13, 2007, 08:36:51 AM »
Yo guys,
I downloaded a 310MB video back on the 3rd, and of course, cannot remember
where I got it, or who posted the link....... :'(
The video is called "Not my time to die!" by MysticPuma.
I believe it is too large for YouTube,.........I might have even gotten it from Dumo! ???
Wonderful, wonderful video! 28 minutes long!
Has anyone else seen this? I have no idea how to share a 310MB file........ :-[
The video was made in IL-2, and alot of the bandit calls, and bomb-drop calls were EAW.
Cool! ;D

Hey Roller,
I did some searching and I found a copy at http://mission4today.com/index.php
The original site is now a porn site. I was required to register as a member to be able to download the Zip file. It took about an hour to download it. I haven’t tried to look at it yet, it is time to go to the beach with my harem. If you want me to, I could put it on the 352nd site download section when I get home.

I KNEW I got it from Dumo!!! ;D ;D ;D

I always wished I could relive some of our online missions, and view it without having
to worry about flying.........just changing views! :D
FS9 allows you to 'view' previous flights.........AOE had an excellent flight recorder.;
EAW could have easily included a flight recorder, but chose not to, for whatever reasons.
(Money, money, money.......get the product out the door, dont matter if it's broke... ???)

As usual, I had difficulties when I tried to do something that I expected to be simple. I tried to download the NOT MY TIME TO DIE movie from the Gamerz Theatre site. The movie would start to play through my Windows Media Player without giving any indication that I was downloading any files at all. I found that I could get a download from the Mission 4 today site and ended up with a Zip file in my download folder. I am using my Laptop with the Vista operating system and it does some things differently so I never know for sure what to expect. I ended up trying to download Winzip 11.1 from the official WinZip site. They wanted payment before any downloads. I got a copy from Download.Com but that has a 45 trial limit. I have an earlier registered version on my desktop system at home and I will put that on when I get home. After I unzipped it, I got an AVI file, which Windows Media player couldn’t or wouldn’t play. I downloaded and installed the DivX player. Now I could play the AVI file on the DivX or the Win Media player. That is what happened on my Win98 Desktop system. I haven’t watched the whole Movie yet but it is very well done.

I did run across an interesting site. http://www.oldversion.com/

A lot of your old share ware had trial periods but still ran after the trial period expired. His was the case with WinZip. I downloaded PAINTSHOP PRO 4 for an experiment to see if it runs after the trial period runs out. After I post this I will browse through Dumo’s site, he has some good stuff there.
