Hello Roller,
I know .. I know .. Igo trough all that and beyond .. !

Your idea of to put all over again is a good idea...
Begin from scratch is great but ask courage and determination ....
Think well about what is working great now
Think of the errors or mistakes you make and was actually not able to correct fully but aware you know now where are the mistakes or errors.
Put all your assets in a safe place before whippe any thing.(All the drivers and don't forget the motherboard drivers if it's needed!! - if you have nothing about the motherboard go on the constructor site and collect all the needed from the manual to the drivers needd!!)
Take a breath of fresh air .... go in a park or somewhere else with a paper and a pen ... and write down your plan ... for the new install .. step by step .. at the light of your recent experiences.
Make a good install ..and when the basic system run with no glitches ... made a image (Acronis) and you will sleep better

The important is the planning .. be sure no errors with the drivers ! .. it's seem's it's not easy to return back with your actual hardware..
Sure you will succeed.....
At least when you think at all the time and frustrations you have spend from day A .. a complete format and reinstall will be a delivrence.
So no forget:
Format.
Ajust your BIO as required
Install Windows and refuse any install of any graphics or sound drivers he suggest.
Now your graphics are not great in default VGA but that's not important.
In case of: install the motherboard drivers first (chipset drivers in some cases) and reboot
Set your main basics preferences in Windows.
Already install some tools as Winrar and Winzip ..etc.... you will need maybe for work with your saved drivers ETC... and reboot
Install directX
Reboot.
Install your drivers..... (first graphic and after sound) and for security reboot between each drivers install.
Continue your installation with your proggies you need.
I wish you good luck in you go inthis way

Military regards.
