I am planning on being on tonight.
Getting a little warmer so I'm hoping to get started on jobs that have been waiting all winter.

It is possible that I can lose track of time (it's happened before) but the plan is to be on around 7

I do not know when these changes came in, (weather, time of day and battle size) but I suspect they were already in 1.2.
VBH could check them when he is online because I suspect he has not changed the way these values are communicated in the FXExe.

Thanks for testing this out. So only some of the values are being written. I guess that can be a permission problem there as Jack was saying.

So Weather= and BattleSize=  values changed in players ini v1.60

Then TimeOfDay=? and that was written to players ini for which version?

TIt looked as though none of the values changed in the player's ini.
However we ran the game again and Hector changed the Weather and Battle size values.
The new values appeared in my eaw.ini

I was using the standard 160 exe and not the special one.
It uses month/day/hour/minute settings and not time of day.
These are not passed on at all if the host changes them- something I need to investigate.

Time of day may be passed and updated in the player's ini.
I need to use a version of the exe that uses it.


Edit:
I just did and the host's value for the Time of day is written in the players' ini files.
