I am turning on my Win 10 system and getting ready to switch my operations onto that. The XP system is starting to get the blue screens more frequently. Sooner or later, it may crash and destroy a lot of important files. My #1 son has moved in with me and we finally got his name on all of the critical financial accounts and I can start making out the will and not leave a mess for them to clean up. I will be 84 in a few weeks but I am still active. I do my walking and swimming and my exercises include 15 pushups every day. I am a long way from closing up the shop but the future can change very swiftly.
I haven’t been able to network these 2 computers yet. I will be using a Seagate external solid state drive to transfer files via USB ports. That is a bit time consuming but I will be getting familiar with the quirks of Win 10 at the same time. As I do more and more of my activities on this computer, I will start gaining my competence back.
I was getting ready to post this on the site here when the system froze up. I had to power off to get back up. Oddly, I didn’t lose this file.

This is not a good omen!!

Jack

The web host will be making some changes and migrations on the back end that may affect the site. These changes are going to be done in batches throughout the month but should not last for long.
So if you stop by and can't get to the site it's either that or I have won the lottery and am travelling the world.

It'll probably be the web host thing though....

Jack those are DVI outputs (not HDMI) usally the card if new comes with the DVI to VGA adapter, but if you buy it used then perhaps you need to ask the seller if he has one laying around.

Also know that card requires a 500 watt power supply with Two available 6-pin PCIe power dongles.

Hello Jack,

Yes it's HDMI output on this Nvidia video card
So you need a adaptator socket HDMI to VGA
Very cheap  :D
